The finalized design is at the top — that’s the one to review. Below it: the same page in two other palettes, the earlier riffs, the different take, and the reviewed originals. Scroll the final fully, desktop and phone.

The Finalized Design

Updated per David’s feedback and fully refined — this is the working final. Start here: everything we liked from every round, in the Dark Craft palette David picked, with the real credentials and the finished polish pass.

Direction 11
★ Finalized per David’s feedback
Dark Craft II
The finalized homepage: full-bleed hero, services with hover photos, before/after sliders with the landing-page drag handle, real credentials (15+ · 500+ · 5.0 · 1), mega-menu and slide-in drawer, glowing-logo CTA. Deep charcoal, aged gold, Playfair.

The Recommendation — Other Palettes

The same page as the finalized design, in the two other colour worlds we explored: 9 wears evergreen, 10 wears the DreamPro brand palette in its dark form.

Direction 9
★ Recommended
Front Runner
Direction 7’s full-bleed hero, before/after sliders, and glowing “Ready to start your project?” CTA — with the services mega-menu on desktop, the slide-in drawer on phones, services that swap photos as you hover, and headings set in Dark Craft’s Playfair.

Direction 10
★ Recommended
Midnight Gold
The exact same page as Front Runner, re-dressed in the DreamPro brand palette gone dark: midnight violet ground, sunflower-gold CTAs and glow, steel blue in the supporting role, warm white type.
Graeme’s noteThis is the palette from the ad landing pages (quotes.dreamprocontracting.ca) — pick this and the ads and the website read as one brand from click to quote.

Riffs on Dark Craft

The clean, elegant DNA of the favourite, taken new places — built around the real DreamPro logo, refocused on renovations. Each one tries a different clean navigation pattern from the real site map.

Direction 4
New
Gilded Arch
Your brand palette on a light base with a full-bleed image hero in a light treatment. Marcellus Roman serif, arch details, gold-gradient CTAs. Nav: utility bar + services dropdown.
Graeme’s noteThe hero here works well — and hover over the services list to watch the photos change with each service. That detail is worth a look.

Direction 5
New
North Star
Quiet luxury on plaster white in steel blue. Light Cormorant serif, hairline rules, museum whitespace, star glyph motif. Nav: minimal bar, no dropdowns — full site map lives in the footer.
Graeme’s noteOpen this one on your phone and tap the menu — it slides in from the side over the page. That menu style is a favourite.

Direction 6
New
Pacific Hall
Deep evergreen, cream Fraunces serif, brass accents, ridgeline dividers, before/after slider, glowing-logo CTA. Nav: services mega-menu panel.
Graeme’s noteTwo things to look at here: click Services in the top bar — that big menu panel is a favourite — and scroll to the bottom for the “Ready to start your project?” section with the glow behind the logo.

Direction 7
New
Evergreen Craft
The hybrid: Dark Craft’s full-bleed hero, three before/after sliders, and “contractor you don’t have to manage” messaging in Pacific Hall’s evergreen and brass. Nav: simple services + areas dropdowns.
Graeme’s noteThis whole direction is strong — it’s the closest to everything we like, and it’s the base for the recommended direction 9 above.

A Different Take

One deliberately different answer — new layout system, new navigation, new tonal world — in case the right direction isn’t a riff at all.

Direction 8
New
The Showroom
Architecture-studio layout: fixed left-rail navigation carrying the whole site map, content scrolling beside it. Plaster, ink, walnut, one oxblood accent; wide Archivo type; measure-mark details; before/after slider.

Round 1 — Reviewed

The original three concepts. David picked Dark Craft; the rounds above build on it.

Direction 1
Reviewed — passed
Slate & Steel
Split-screen hero, giant Syne headline, flat sharp-edged cards.

Direction 2
Client favourite
Dark Craft
Dark, moody, photography-forward. Playfair Display serif, gold accents, before/after renovation sliders. The one David liked — kept as the reference point.
Graeme’s noteOne open question: compare the services tiles here (the ones that light up on the grey background) against direction 9’s services list with the changing photos. Could go either way — tell us which.

Direction 3
Reviewed — passed
Warm Authority
Typographic hero with Fraunces variable-weight headline, orange CTAs, warm white palette.

Planned Site Structure — 18 Pages

From the build plan. Every concept's navigation and footer now follow this structure, so the menus read like the real site will. Page links go live as pages get built.

What to look for: Scroll each direction fully without analyzing. Notice which one makes you lean forward — which feels like your brand. Compare the navigation menus too: dropdown, mega-menu, minimal, or the side rail. Take notes: "I love the hero from #7, the menu from #8, the colors from #6." Then come back and tell me.
